Test Post from Browser MCP

This post was created and edited using Browser MCP, an automation tool that connects AI agents to web browsers. The Gutenberg block editor proved challenging for browser automation, but switching to the Code Editor mode made it possible to add content directly.

Browser MCP allows AI assistants to navigate websites, click buttons, fill forms, and interact with web applications — all through an automated browser session. This post serves as a proof of concept for managing WordPress content programmatically.

Key discoveries from this experiment:

  • The WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) is difficult to automate via accessibility snapshots
  • Quick Edit from the posts list is reliable for metadata changes
  • The Code Editor mode exposes standard textareas that work well with automation
  • Publishing flows work through the standard button interactions
